Our Favourite Eats
They say that some people eat to live, but us, we definitely live to eat. Food is one of the best reasons to get out of bed in the morning, and there's no doubt that a favourite meal is something you can look forward to for days. Weeks, even.
Considering our love of fantastic drinks and good food, we thought we'd share our five favourite items on Kingpin's menu. Make no mistake, these were not easy to narrow down, so be sure to go check them out next time you're here for a birthday party or just a game of pool, bowling or laser.
Amigos tasting plate
Start with a luscious stack of beef'n'beans, dollop lovingly with fresh guacamole and tomato salsa, then drizzle with mouthwatering Mexican cheese sauce and serve with crispy tortillas and corn chips. Altogether, you've got the Amigos tasting plate to get your Mexican on. It's technically designed to serve three to four, but if you believe in yourself and think you can demolish one by yourself, we're not going to try stop you.
There are all sorts of euphemisms we could use, but we may as well just come out and say it: The Breaky Brioche is the ultimate hangover cure. When you've had a big night, slide yourself into a seat and tuck into this meal of champions. It's a divine plate of crispy bacon, fried egg, cheese, mixed lettuce and avocado, all served on a lightly toasted brioche bun. Finish one of these, and you'll be ready to go on those spinny rides at the theme park.
Spicy Spanish hot dog
This hot dog is so much more than just a hot dog. Fly to Spain in a single bite of this spicy grilled chorizo sausage, generously decorated with chilli con carne and sour cream, drizzled with melted mozzarella cheese and sprinkled with chilli flakes.
We really don't need to say much to talk up jaffles. But we will anyway. We've got four different jaffle flavours, from choc banana and Mediterranean to Hawaiian and classic. They are all ridiculously tasty and are the perfect meal for when you want something hot, filling, and absolutely glorious.
Out of our entire sweets menu, the churros have to take the cake. Or should that be take the churro? In any case, you can't go past these sugary-sweet, warm and moreish treats. We smother them (gently) in cinnamon sugar and serve them to you hot with decadent chocolate dipping sauce and refreshing vanilla ice cream.
